Sri Gayathri Mini Hall

We have this small hall at 144 Malleshwaram in Bangalore. It is not one of those massive wedding palaces you see on the outskirts of the city. Instead, it’s a more compact space that works well for smaller things like birthday parties, engagements, or local community meetings. Malleshwaram is a very traditional neighborhood, and we have been here for quite some time. The hall is pretty basic with just the floor space, some chairs, and a small area that can be used as a stage. We don't provide catering or decoration ourselves, so people usually bring in their own folks for that. We just give them the keys and make sure the place is clean before they start. After an event is over, we have to go in and sweep everything up and put the chairs back in their places. It is a lot of manual work. The street outside is a bit narrow, so parking can sometimes be a struggle for the guests, but that’s just how Malleshwaram is. We handle all the bookings through a simple register. We don't have a big office or a lot of staff. Usually, it’s just one or two of us looking after the place and making sure the electricity and water are working. It’s a very local business, and we mostly get people from the surrounding streets coming in to ask about dates. It is a plain, honest space for people who want to celebrate something without a lot of fuss.
