We’ve been here in the Peenya Industrial Area for a long time now. Our shop is located at 139/2B, right near Ratan Pole. If you know this part of town, you know it gets pretty loud with all the heavy machines running around us every day. That’s just the way it is in this neighborhood. Most of our days start quite early, usually before the sun really starts to bake the metal roof overhead. We do a lot of small jobs and some bigger ones too, mostly fixing things or making specific parts that people need for their own shops. There is almost always some grease on the floor and that distinct smell of cutting oil in the air. It is definitely not a fancy place, but it works for what we do. My uncle originally started this business and we just kept going with it over the years. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit around and wait for it to come back, but usually, we are kept busy from the morning until late evening. We have some old lathes that still run better than the expensive new ones people always try to sell us. It’s a lot of manual work. You get used to the constant noise after a few years of being here. We don't have a big office or anything, just a small desk tucked into the corner with some old ledgers and a few spare parts.
