Sri Chamundi Industries

Peenya is a pretty hectic place to have a business but we have been here at Sri Chamundi Industries for quite some time now. This area is mostly known for all the manufacturing and small sheds, and we fit right in with the rest of them. The workshop is usually full of the smell of cut metal and grease. We don't have a big front office or anything like that because we spend most of our time on the floor. It gets quite loud during the day with all the machines running at once, so we usually have to shout a bit to be heard over the noise. Our setup is pretty basic but it gets the job done for what we need to produce. Most of the guys working here live nearby and have been with us through many seasons. We deal with a lot of raw materials coming in and finished parts going out to different parts of the city. It is hard work and your hands get dirty within the first ten minutes of the shift. We have some old machines that still work better than the new ones we bought recently. The tea breaks are the best part of the day when we all sit outside on the stone bench for a few minutes. We don't spend much time on paperwork unless we absolutely have to. It’s just about keeping the production line moving so we don't fall behind.
