Sri Annapoorneshwari Roadlines

Sri Annapoorneshwari Roadlines is based out of the Devaraj Urs Truck Terminal in Yeshwantpur. We are in unit D 30 on the first floor. If you’ve ever been to the truck terminal, you know it’s a massive, busy place full of lorries and drivers. We are right in the middle of all that action. Our office is simple, just a place for our clerks to sit and handle the transport documents and talk to the drivers. There’s always the smell of diesel and the sound of engines idling nearby. We deal with moving loads from one place to another. It’s a lot of coordination on the phone. My uncle started this and now a few of us keep it going. We don't have a website or anything fancy. We just rely on the relationships we’ve built with the drivers and the customers over the years. It’s a tough business because there are always delays with traffic or weather. But we stay at it. The first floor gets a bit of a breeze which is nice. Most of our days are spent checking logs and making sure the trucks are on schedule. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s essential. We drink plenty of tea from the stall downstairs and keep the papers moving. It’s what we know how to do. Sometimes the paperwork piles up on the desk, but we get through it. It's just how the transport business goes here.
