Sri Andhara Mess

You can find us on the second floor of Prabha Plaza. It’s right there in the 5th Block of Koramangala on 12th Cross. Sri Andhara Mess isn't a large place, just a regular mess where you can get a decent meal. We’ve been in this building for a bit, and we know most of the people who work in the offices nearby. The stairs up to the second floor are a little narrow, but folks don't seem to mind. We focus on the kind of food we like to eat at home. It’s mostly rice, dal, and different types of curries that we make fresh every day. We start early in the morning, chopping vegetables and getting the spices ready. It’s a small team of us back there. We don't really do anything fancy with the presentation. It’s just food served hot. The tables are simple and we try to keep the place clean as people come and go. Lunch is usually our busiest time. Sometimes every seat is taken and people have to wait a few minutes, but it moves fast. We’re not looking to be a big chain or anything. We just like having this one spot in Koramangala. It’s steady work and we enjoy seeing the regulars who come in every week. If you’re looking for a quiet, fancy place, this isn't it, but if you want a meal, we’re here.
