Sree Varamahalakshmi Ramanuja Engineering Works

We are located at Plot No-7 on the 3rd Cross in R V Shetty Layout. It’s right behind Platform Road in Seshadripuram. The name of the business is Sree Varamahalakshmi Ramanuja Engineering Works, which is quite a mouthful, but we just think of ourselves as the local machine shop. Being tucked away behind Platform Road means it’s a bit quieter than the main streets, which is nice when you’re trying to concentrate on precision work. We have a lot of heavy machinery in here, so the floor is concrete and there’s usually a bit of grease around. It’s not a place where you’d want to wear your best clothes. We’ve been in this layout for years and we’ve seen a lot of neighbors come and go. Our space is filled with the sound of grinding and cutting most of the day. It can get pretty hot in the afternoons, but we just keep the fans going and keep working. We don’t have a fancy office area; our desk is just in the corner of the workshop where we can keep an eye on everything. We handle a lot of different engineering tasks for people in the area. Most of our day is spent measuring, cutting, and fixing things that people bring to us. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. We don't use any fancy systems, just our hands and our experience from doing this every day. It's just a regular workshop.
