Spandhana Public Trust

Spandhana Public Trust is located at No.717 on 17th B Main Road in Koramangala 6th Block. We are right near the Koramangala Club, which is a big landmark for everyone around here. Our office is in a fairly quiet residential part of the neighborhood, though Koramangala as a whole is always buzzing. The building is a regular house that we’ve converted into a workspace. It has that homey feeling, with a small gate and some trees out front. We spend most of our time dealing with people who walk in looking for help or information. There is always a lot of paperwork on the desks and files stacked up in the corners. We aren't a big, slick organization with thousands of employees. It’s just a few of us who care about what’s happening in our community. Sometimes we sit out on the small porch to have tea and discuss the day’s work. The street outside is lined with trees, so it stays relatively cool even in the summer. We have people coming in from all walks of life. Some days are really quiet and we just organize the files, while other days we have a queue of people out the door. We don’t have a fancy reception area. You just walk in and talk to whoever is available. It’s a simple setup because that’s all we really need to do what we do here for the people who visit us every day.
