Sonam Networks

Chickpet is a maze, and we are right in the middle of it at Bhandari Mansion. Our unit is number 639 on the 3rd floor. If you’ve ever walked through these streets, you know how crowded it gets with people and carts everywhere. We’ve been at Sonam Networks for quite some time, navigating the narrow stairs of this building every single day. The 3rd floor is high enough to escape some of the street noise, but you can still hear the shouting of the vendors below. Our space is filled with boxes and wires. It’s a bit messy, to be honest, but we know exactly where everything is stored. We don't spend much money on decor because we’d rather just have the parts we need in stock. The light in the hallway is often flickering, so you have to be careful where you step. We start work early before the heat of the afternoon sets in. Chickpet has a certain smell of old paper and fabric, and it lingers in our office too. We’ve seen many businesses come and go in this building, but we’ve managed to stay put. It’s a tough place to work sometimes because of the lack of space, but it’s where we started and where we plan to stay. We just keep our heads down and handle the network stuff that comes our way. It is a living, and it keeps us busy throughout the year.
