Softec Precision Products

Our workshop is over in Yelahanka New Town, specifically in the Shilak Complex on Millers Road. We are in unit C 1 A. It’s a place where we spend a lot of time around machines and measuring tools. We make various precision parts, so there is always the sound of metal and equipment in the background. It’s a hands-on job and we usually have grease on our hands by the end of the shift. The Shilak Complex is a busy area with a lot of other small workshops and businesses around us. We’ve been at this location on Millers Road for a good stretch of time. The team is small, just a few guys who know how to run the lathes and grinders. We don’t have a fancy front office; usually, if someone comes by, they just walk right into the shop area. We focus on getting the dimensions right and making sure the parts are sturdy. It’s tedious work sometimes, checking and re-checking everything, but it’s what we do. We aren't big on meetings or long emails. Most of our communication is just shouting over the machine noise or writing notes on the chalkboards. We like being in Yelahanka because it’s a good hub for this kind of work. We just stay focused on the orders we have and try to get them finished on time. It’s a gritty, honest way to earn a living. We keep our tools sharp and our eyes on the work.
