Sneham Engineering Works

Our workshop is at 123/3 in the Peenya Industrial Area, right near Prabhat Chowk. If you know Peenya, you know it’s all about metal, grease, and heavy machinery. We’ve got lathes and welding equipment set up in the main bay of the shop. It’s usually quite loud because someone is always cutting, drilling, or grinding something for a client. We do a lot of small-scale engineering jobs for other businesses around this area. It’s a bit messy with metal shavings on the floor, but we try to sweep up at the end of every shift. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting room with magazines. Usually, you just walk in through the big doors and talk to whoever is nearest. Most of us have greasy hands and work clothes on by ten in the morning. We’ve been at this location for a good while and the neighbors are all doing similar industrial work. We fix parts, build small metal structures, and handle whatever mechanical repairs come our way during the week. The roof leaks a tiny bit when it rains really hard during the monsoon, but we moved the machines away from those spots long ago. It’s an honest place where we just focus on getting the measurements right and finishing the job. We drink our coffee out of steel tumblers and keep the tools organized as best we can. It’s not a fancy office, just a place for work.
