Sivasakthi Engineering Company is located right here in Bangalore. We’ve been part of the city for a long time. It’s changed a lot since we started, with all the new buildings and the traffic getting so much worse. We just keep doing our thing though. Our setup is pretty straightforward. We have the space we need for the engineering side of things and a small area for the paperwork. It’s not a shiny new tech office like you see in some parts of Bangalore. It’s a place where work actually happens. The floors are a bit worn and there's always a smell of oil or metal in the air. That’s just how an engineering shop should be, we think. We don't go in for big speeches or fancy logos. We just take the jobs as they come and try to do them right. Most of us have been working together for years, so we know how each other works. Bangalore is a big place, but the engineering community feels small sometimes. You get to know people. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we have to. Most of the day is spent on the floor. It’s a loud place, but we like it that way. It means we’re busy. We just stay focused on the tasks at hand.
