Silver Wok Restaurant

We are Silver Wok Restaurant, located at No. 85/1 in Sheriff House on Richmond Road. We are right next to the Lak Me Beauty Parlour. Richmond Road is a very central part of Bangalore, so it’s always crowded and there’s never enough parking. Our restaurant is in an older building, which gives it a bit of character I guess. It’s not a shiny new mall location, but we like it here. The staff and I have a routine down. We start early to get the kitchen ready. Being in the 560025 area means we get a lot of office workers during the week. They are usually in a hurry to get back to their desks, so lunch is our busiest time. We don't have any big corporate ideas about dining experiences. We just put food on plates and make sure people have water. My brother handles the deliveries, and I stay at the front counter. We see the same faces every week, which is nice. It makes the city feel a bit smaller. The beauty parlour next door brings in a different crowd too. Sometimes the smell of hair products drifts over, and the smell of our cooking goes over there. It’s just how it is on a busy street like Richmond Road. We don't do much advertising. People mostly know us because they work nearby. If you are in Sheriff House, we are easy to find.
