Sigma Machine Tools

Sigma Machine Tools is located in the Madihal area of Dharwad, specifically on Sirstar Oni. We’ve been here for a long time, supplying and working with different types of tools for local workshops. The place is full of heavy iron and steel equipment. It’s not a polished store; it’s more like a warehouse where things are stacked up on heavy-duty racks. We deal with a lot of local craftsmen and small factory owners from around Karnataka. Dharwad is a place where people appreciate things that last, so we try to keep stuff that’s sturdy. The floor is concrete and often has oil spots on it from the machines. We spend our days moving crates, checking tool specs, and talking to customers who know exactly what they need for their own shops. There is no air conditioning, just the big open doors to let the breeze in. It gets quite dusty because of the road outside, but that’s just how it is. We don't have a big corporate structure. Usually, it’s just us handling the orders and making sure the right tools get to the right people. Sometimes we have to spend a lot of time searching through the inventory to find a specific bit or a specialized wrench. It’s a slow-paced but constant kind of work. We know the other shop owners on Sirstar Oni well, and we often share a tea in the afternoon when things quiet down.
