Associated Hoists & Allieds is based in Building No.C-62 on 2nd Main Road. We’re in Peenya 2nd Stage, which is a huge industrial hub. Our place is really close to the Peenya 2nd Stage Bus Stop, so it’s easy enough for the workers to get here. We deal with hoists and other heavy machinery parts. It’s the kind of work where you’re always moving heavy stuff around. The warehouse is usually full of chains, hooks, and big metal frames. It’s not a place for someone who’s afraid of getting a bit of dirt on their clothes. We’ve been here for a while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. The roads can be pretty rough around here with all the trucks coming and going. Inside, the noise of the machinery is pretty constant. We aren't big on paperwork, though we have to do it to keep things moving. Most of our day is spent checking equipment or helping load stuff onto trailers. We’re just a regular bunch of people trying to make sure the equipment we provide is solid and safe. No one here is trying to be a big shot. We just want to finish the orders and make sure the count is right before the day ends. It’s a busy, dusty place but it’s home to us.
