Sigma Engineers

We have been based at B-32/1/4 in the Waluj MIDC area for a good number of years now. It is a busy industrial zone, and there is always something going on outside our gates. Sigma Engineers is mostly a small group of us who handle various technical jobs that come our way. We usually work on making machine parts or repairing things for the bigger factories nearby. The workshop can get quite loud during the day, especially when the lathes and milling machines are all running at the same time. Most of the staff here have been with us for a long time. They know how the old equipment works better than anyone else. We do not have a fancy office with air conditioning; we are mostly out on the shop floor getting our hands dirty. Sometimes the work piles up when a big order comes in, but we just keep at it until it is finished. Waluj has changed quite a bit since we first opened, but we have stayed in the same spot. If you are driving through the MIDC, you might actually miss our sign because it is a bit faded from the sun. It is a simple workspace with some basic tools and a lot of metal scraps lying around. We spend most of our time looking at technical drawings and trying to get the dimensions right. It is hard work, but it is what we know. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon and we just have to wait.
