We operate out of 63/2 Kalipalayam, right on Ajwa Road. Our office sits on the first and second floors, though most of the action happens downstairs where the trucks are parked and loaded. It’s a busy spot most mornings. Moving things from one place to another sounds simple enough when you talk about it, but there’s always something happening with the schedules or a driver calling in about traffic problems. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at clipboards to keep things straight. The stairs up to the second floor are steep, and we’re up and down them all day long. It’s a local operation, nothing too big or flashy. We know the roads around here like the back of our hands. Sometimes it feels like we live at the office because the work doesn’t really stop once the sun goes down. There’s usually a pile of paperwork on the desk and a pot of tea going somewhere in the back room. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there; we just want to get the loads delivered without any trouble. It’s been this way for years. The neighbors know us, and we know them. You get used to the sound of the engines and the smell of the road after a while. It’s just what we do every day. It’s not always easy, especially when the weather is bad, but we manage to get through it together.
