Shub Sagar Restaurant

Shub Sagar Restaurant is sitting right on the Ring Road in Banashankari 3rd Stage. If you know the Sri Sai Megha Plaza near Janatha Bazar, that’s where we are. It’s a busy spot, especially with all the cars and buses going past the Ittumudu cross. We open up early in the morning because that’s when the coffee crowd starts coming in. The sound of the milk steamer and the smell of the tiffin is what defines our mornings. It gets really loud in here during the lunch rush. We don’t have much time for small talk when there are plates to be moved. The staff here is mostly guys who have moved to Bangalore for work. We just do our jobs and try to keep up with the pace of the city. Being near Anjenaya Nagar means we get a lot of locals who just want a quick bite. We don’t do any of that fancy presentation you see on TV. It’s just food on a plate. The tables are simple, and the chairs have seen better days, but they work. We spend a lot of time cleaning up after the crowds. It’s a repetitive cycle every single day. We don’t have any grand plans, just keeping the restaurant running and the kitchen busy. The Ring Road never really stops, so there is always noise outside. We just stay behind the counter and keep the orders moving along.
