Shri Krishna Kalyana Mantapa

We are over here at 5 1 Jayanagar 16th Cross, right in the first main part of Aecs Layout. It is the first stage area, and if you know the Sai Baba Temple, we are pretty much right near there. It’s a busy spot but that is just how things are around here in 560041. We have been running Shri Krishna Kalyana Mantapa for some time now. It’s a big building where people bring their families for weddings and other functions. Mostly we are just busy keeping the floors clean and making sure the lights work when they should. The neighborhood has changed a lot since we started, but the temple is still the main landmark for everyone trying to find us. Sometimes the traffic on 16th Cross gets a bit much, especially when there is a big event going on, but we manage. My staff and I spend most of our mornings checking the halls. It is not fancy work, just making sure there is enough space for everyone to sit and eat. We see a lot of people come through those doors, some happy, some stressed about their big day. It is just a regular place for regular people to get together. We don’t do much advertising because people usually just see the sign or hear about us from their neighbors. It is honest work and keeps us on our feet all day long. I usually end up fixing something small like a chair or a fan every single week.
