You can find Shri Balaji Components over on Sonawala Cross Road 14 C, right in the heart of the Peenya Industrial Area. This whole neighborhood is basically nothing but workshops and factories. Our place is full of those little plastic bins and metal drawers that hold thousands of different tiny parts. It is a bit of a maze inside because we keep adding more shelves as we get new components in. We spend a lot of time squinting at part numbers and checking them against lists. It is not very exciting work, but it is what we do. The lighting in the back isn't the best, so we use these old desk lamps to see the small stuff. There is usually a radio playing somewhere in the background to help pass the time. We do not have a big marketing department or any glossy catalogs to show off. Most people who come here already know exactly what serial number they are looking for. The traffic around Sonawala Cross Road is usually a nightmare, especially when the big lorries are trying to turn, so we have gotten used to the sound of horns all day long. We are just a local business trying to keep track of a massive inventory. It is a lot of counting and sorting, and by the end of the day, our eyes are usually pretty tired. We just lock up, go home, and do it all again the next morning without any big complaints.
