Shree Chowdeshwari Kalyana Mantapa

Our hall is located at 127 Kadugondanahalli on the 19th Road, very close to the Old Toll Gate. It’s a well-known spot in this part of Bangalore 560044. We’ve had this Kalyana Mantapa for a long time, and it has seen many weddings, naming ceremonies, and family reunions over the decades. The building is older, with high ceilings and big fans to keep the air moving when it gets crowded. It isn't a modern, glass-fronted venue, but it has a lot of space for people to gather and eat together. We have a large kitchen area in the back where the caterers set up their big stoves. Most of our days are spent either showing the hall to families or cleaning up after a big event. The floors need a lot of scrubbing after a wedding. Living and working near the Old Toll Gate means we are used to the noise of the traffic and the busy neighborhood. We try to keep the place in good shape so it’s ready for the next family that needs it. It’s a lot of responsibility to host someone’s special day, and we just try to make sure the lights are on and the water is running. We don't do much in the way of promotion; people usually find us because their parents or relatives had their own functions here years ago.
