Shree Chaitniya Kala Ridham Dance School

We are tucked away near Trinity Circle where Hosur Road and MG Road meet. It is a very busy part of town, so there is always a lot of noise outside from the traffic. Inside, we have our space for the dance classes. It isn't a massive studio, but it has enough room for the students to move around without bumping into each other too much. We teach different styles of dance, mostly traditional stuff, but it depends on who is coming in that week. The floors get scuffed up pretty quickly from all the practice, so we are always cleaning them. We started this because we liked the art, and it just grew from there. It can get a bit hot during the afternoon sessions when the sun hits the windows. Students come from all over the city since we are close to the metro and the main junctions. We don't do anything too formal, just regular practice and learning the steps. Sometimes the music is loud and the neighbors might hear, but they're used to us by now. It’s a bit of a climb to get to us but most people don't mind. We keep a schedule on the wall and try to stick to it, though things sometimes run a bit late if a particular move is hard to learn. We just want people to enjoy the movement and the music without worrying too much about being perfect right away. It is a simple place for people who enjoy dance.
