Shravani Caterer

We operate out of our space in Banashankari, specifically in the Piamboli Goan area of Shivaji Nagar. It’s a busy little corner, and there is always something going on around here. We aren't a restaurant where you can come and sit down; instead, we spend our time prepping food for different events and gatherings. Most mornings start really early, like four or five, when the fresh supplies arrive at S No 281/2. My family has lived in this part of Bangalore for a long time, so we know the neighborhood well. Cooking in big batches is a lot different than just making a meal at home. You have to watch the huge pots and make sure nothing burns while you're busy chopping. We have a few big stoves and plenty of containers piled up. Sometimes it feels a bit chaotic when three orders are going out at once, but we manage to get the boxes packed and ready. I handle most of the phone calls myself while trying to keep an eye on the kitchen. It’s a messy job with flour and spices everywhere, but that’s just how catering works. We don't have a fancy website or a sales team. People usually find out about Shravani Caterer by word of mouth from neighbors or people who ate our food at a wedding. We just keep our heads down and keep cooking. It is hard work, but it keeps us busy.
