Our office is located on the first floor of the Thayappa Reddy Building. It’s number 3, right on Kagadasapura Main Road. If you’ve ever been to this part of Bangalore near C.V. Raman Nagar, you know how the traffic can be. It’s always a bit of a crawl getting here in the mornings. The building itself is okay, though the stairs can be a bit steep if you’re carrying heavy bags up. We’ve got a small team working here at Shobha Engg on various projects. It’s mostly just us sitting around a few big tables with our computers and stacks of drawings that never seem to get smaller. We aren't really into the corporate vibe you see in the big tech parks. We just do our work, talk to our clients, and try to get things done on time. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy with the buses passing by outside, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. There’s a small place nearby where we go for coffee and snacks when we need a break from the computer screens. We don't have a big sign outside, so people sometimes miss the entrance the first time they visit us. It’s just a regular workspace for regular people. We keep things pretty simple here and don’t worry too much about having the fanciest office furniture. As long as the internet works and we have enough light, we’re good.
