Shinde Times

Shinde Times is found at 933/04, right opposite the Udipi Garden Hotel on 16th Main. We are in the 1st Phase of BTM Layout, specifically the 2nd Stage area. It is a very recognizable spot because of the hotel across the street. Our shop is where we deal with watches and timepieces every day. You can hear the faint ticking of different clocks if you stand still for a moment. It is a small, local business that has been part of BTM Layout for a while now. We spend a lot of our time hunched over workbenches looking at small parts or helping someone pick out a new watch. It is the kind of place where things move a bit slower than the busy traffic outside on 16th Main. We do not have any high-tech gadgets or a polished retail look; it is just shelves of watches and the tools we need to fix them. People stop in because they know we are right across from Udipi Garden. We have seen the neighborhood grow and change around us while we stay focused on our little corner. It is a quiet life of looking at gears and springs. We just try to do a decent job for the people who bring their things to us. It is a simple shop for a simple purpose. Sometimes we forget to turn the radio off at night, but we're always back early the next day.
