Shell Architects & Interior Designers Llp is located up on the 1st floor at 2576. It is a bit of a climb if you aren't used to it, but it’s a quiet enough spot for us to get things done. We spend a lot of our time looking at floor plans and picking out materials that don't clash. Interior design is mostly about making sure things aren't in the way when people are trying to walk around their own homes. We deal with architects too, since the structure matters just as much as the paint. The office is usually covered in samples—tiles, wood swatches, and bits of fabric. It isn't always glamorous work. Sometimes we’re just measuring walls for the third time to be sure. We talk to contractors and try to keep everyone on the same page. Life at 2576 is mostly just coffee and phone calls. We don't go for anything too flashy, just solid work that stays within the budget people give us. It's been a steady road so far. We like it here on the first floor, away from the street noise. It's just a regular office where we try to get the designs right for whoever walks through the door. We don't mind the quiet days as they give us time to focus.
