Shankara Instutite Of Dance Music

Shankara Instutite Of Dance Music is located right in JP Nagar 101. It is a place where you can hear different sounds coming out of the windows almost every afternoon. One minute it might be someone practicing their steps on the floor and the next it could be the sound of an instrument being tuned up. The building isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but inside it is always busy with students of all ages. We see kids coming in after school with their bags and older people who come by later in the evening to pick up a hobby they left behind years ago. The rooms are basic but they serve the purpose for learning. Living in JP Nagar, everything is quite close, so people often just drop their children off and go run errands nearby while the classes are happening. There is often a bit of a crowd near the entrance when one class ends and another starts. It gets a bit noisy with all the chatter and the music mixing together, but that is just how it is every day. The teachers here have been doing this for a long time and they don't make a big deal out of things. It is just about showing up and putting in the work to learn the notes or the movements. We don't have a big front desk or fancy lights, just a space for local people to learn.
