Shahi Rasoi

Koramangala is a place that never really sleeps. We are right in the middle of it at 440, KHB Colony. Finding us is pretty easy if you look for Krishna Cable TV, as we are just near their office. We are also quite close to Jyothi Niwas College, so there are always students walking past our door. Shahi Rasoi is a small place. We have a few wooden tables that have seen better days. The ceiling fan makes a bit of a clicking sound that we’ve stopped noticing. We spend most of our time in the kitchen area. It’s a busy street and there is always someone honking their horn outside. Parking is a real struggle around KHB Colony, so most people just park their scooters on the pavement. We don't have a big marketing team telling us what to say. We just cook the food and serve it to whoever walks in. Sometimes the college kids come in groups and the place gets very loud. We don't mind the noise. It’s better than a silent room. We keep our prices fair because we know most of our customers are on a budget. The walls have a few marks here and there, but the kitchen is kept as clean as possible. We’ve been here for a long time and we’ve seen the neighborhood change around us. We just keep our heads down.
