Seventh Sky Architects Engineers And Interior Designers is located at 90/7 in Vishweshwarapura, though most people just call it VV Puram. We are right in Basavanagudi, which is one of those classic Bangalore neighborhoods that still feels like the old days. The Vyasaraya Matta is the big landmark nearby. Our office is a mix of all three things in our name—architects, engineers, and designers—so there are always papers and color swatches and technical manuals scattered everywhere. It’s a bit of a mess, but we know where everything is. The building isn't brand new, but it’s sturdy. We like being in 560004 because of the food nearby, especially in the evenings when the street food stalls start up. We aren't a corporate firm with a board of directors. We are just a group of people who enjoy working in this part of the city. Our days are pretty long, and we usually have a few half-empty coffee mugs sitting around by 4 PM. We don't have a big mission statement or a fancy philosophy. We just come in, do the work for whoever needs it, and talk about what we’re going to have for dinner. It’s a very grounded way of doing things. We’ve got a few windows that look out onto the street, and we spend a lot of time watching the rain when it comes down.
