Service Engineer

We’re located at 6/2 on the 5th Main Road in K.P. Agarahara. It’s just off Magadi Road here in Bangalore, zip code 560023. This area is always moving, and we move right along with it. Service Engineer is the name on the bill, but most people just know us as the guys who fix things on the 5th Main. The workshop is a bit cramped because we have a lot of equipment packed into a small space. Bangalore traffic is always a topic of conversation around here, especially on Magadi Road, but being tucked away in K.P. Agarahara helps a bit. We spend our days troubleshooting and repairing whatever needs an engineer’s eye. It’s not always clean work. Most days we go home with dirty clothes and tired hands. We don’t have a fancy lobby or air conditioning in the back. We just have the fans going and the radio playing in the corner. We’ve been at this location for a while, and we’ve seen the city grow up around us. It’s a lot noisier now than it used to be. The shop floor is concrete and has some oil stains that won't ever come out. It shows that we've actually been doing some work over the years. We don't do much in the way of promotion. If someone needs something fixed, they usually just walk in or call us. We try to be helpful and get the job done without too much fuss. It’s a straightforward way to live.
