Scratchz D J Academy

If you’re walking down Museum Road near Level-12 of the building on Himalaya Marg 14, you might hear some music coming from our floor. Scratchz D J Academy is basically just a place where we teach people how to use decks and mix tracks. We aren't a big school or anything. It’s more of a hands-on setup with a few rooms and a lot of cables everywhere. Sector 1100-01 can get a bit loud with all the traffic outside, but we just turn the volume up and keep going. Most days, we’re just here helping folks figure out the buttons and the timing. It’s not always perfect; sometimes a speaker blows or someone spills a drink, but that’s just how it is in a music space. We started this because we liked the scene and wanted a place to share what we know. The office is pretty simple, no big reception desk or fancy waiting area. You just walk in and we get to work. Most of our students are locals who want to learn a new hobby or maybe play at a party on the weekends. It’s nice seeing people get the hang of it after a few tries. We’ve been at this address, specifically level 12 of the building, for a bit now and it feels like home. If you're looking for us, we’re way up there. It’s a decent view of the city from the window. We like the vibe here.
