School Of Garment Pattern Making

We are located at E24 on Magadi Road. This is the place where we teach people how to make patterns for all kinds of clothes. It is a very hands-on kind of place, so you will see a lot of brown paper, long rulers, and sharp scissors lying around on the big wooden tables. We do not have any fancy showrooms or offices. It is just a workshop where the real work happens every day. People come here to learn the basics of how a garment is actually put together from scratch. It can get a bit dusty with all the fabric scraps and thread, but that is just part of the job. We show you how to draw the lines and cut the shapes so the clothes fit right on a person. Some of our students have never touched a sewing machine before, and others have been doing it for years at home. We just take it one step at a time with everyone. The room at Magadi Road is usually full of people concentrating hard on their drawings and measurements. It is not a corporate environment; it is more like a small community of people who want to learn a real craft. Sometimes the ceiling fans are a bit loud, but we keep working through the noise. We stay busy through the week, and there is always someone asking for help with a collar.
