If you're looking for Sarada Traders, you have to be careful with the address because it can be tricky. We are at N. No. 61, but some of the older records and the locals still call it Old No. 26. It’s right on Thandavaraya Gramani Street in Tondiarpet. This part of town is always moving, with trucks coming in and out and people constantly walking past the door at all hours. The shop front is usually a bit cluttered with whatever we’ve got in stock that week. We deal with all sorts of trading goods, and the inventory changes fast, so there’s always something new leaning against the wall or stacked in the corner. It’s a tight space inside, and you have to watch your step so you don’t trip over a crate or a box. The air smells a bit like the sea since we aren’t that far from the water, and the humidity can be a real pain for keeping the paperwork tidy. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us who know the layout of the place by heart. Lunchtime is usually spent sitting on small stools and eating out of tiffin boxes while we talk about the news or the terrible traffic on the main road.
