The shop is right here on Utaralli Main Road in Seshadripuram. We've been at number 5 for some time now. It’s a busy spot. Most days we are just busy unpacking boxes and putting things on the shelves so people can find what they need for their homes. The morning starts early. We pull up the shutters when the sun is barely up because that's when the neighbors start coming by. Some people just want one thing, others fill a whole bag. We try to keep things organized but sometimes it gets a bit cluttered when a big delivery comes in. That's just how it is here. Sri Venkateshwara Consumer Supplies isn't a fancy place. It’s got white walls and some old fans that hum while we work. We know most of the people who walk through the door. They live nearby in Seshadripuram or pass through on their way to work. It feels good when someone finds exactly what they were looking for after checking three other shops. We spend a lot of time checking the stock and making sure we haven't run out of the basics. If the floor is a bit dusty by evening, it’s because it’s been a long day with lots of footwork. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure things run okay. It's a simple life at the shop. We like the noise of the main road outside. It keeps us company and tells us the day has started.
