You can find Jyothy Industries over on Kanakapura Road, inside the Muktjivan S C H Compound at Modi Estate. This part of Bangalore has changed a lot over the years, with more traffic and new buildings everywhere. Our unit is tucked away in the compound, so it’s a bit quieter than the main road. We do manufacturing work here. It’s a practical space with benches and tools everywhere. We don’t have air conditioning in the workshop, so we keep the big doors open to let the breeze in. We aren't the type of people who wear suits. We’re usually in our work clothes, covered in a bit of dust or oil. Most of our time is spent on the shop floor checking the machines. We make things that other businesses need, and we try to keep the costs down so everyone is happy. Sometimes we have trouble with the local transport trucks getting stuck in traffic, but that’s just life in this city. We’ve been at this 21/ 10A spot for a good while. The guys who work here have been with us for years, so we’re more like a small family. We don’t do big advertising campaigns. People find us because they need what we make. It’s honest work, and we just keep doing it day after day without making a big deal out of it.
