Balaji Agencies

We set up Balaji Agencies at No. 490 on 14th B Cross over in Mahalakshipuram. It’s a residential-feeling area, so it’s a bit quieter than the main roads. We deal with various agencies and distribution, mostly handling the paperwork and the small deliveries that come through. The office isn't much to look at, just a couple of desks, a filing cabinet that sticks, and a landline that rings way too often. We usually start our day around nine, but things don’t really get moving until the first delivery van arrives. My nephew helps out with the accounts when he’s not at college, and we have one guy who handles the heavy lifting. The tea stall around the corner is where we spend most of our breaks. We’ve had this spot in the 2nd Stage for quite a while now. Most people in the neighborhood know us by name, which is nice. We don’t do a lot of fancy marketing or anything. We just take the orders, check the stock, and send things out. Sometimes the rain leaks in through the front door, so we have to keep the boxes off the floor. It’s a small operation, and we like it that way. No big corporate rules here, just honest work and trying to stay organized.
