The warehouse is located at Viswaneedam 412/260, which isn't always the easiest place to find if you aren't looking for it. We spend most of our hours here sorting through boxes and checking what came in versus what needs to go out. It’s a distribution setup, so there is a lot of stacking and moving things around on pallets. Some days the phone rings more than others, mostly people asking where their delivery is or when the next truck might arrive. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who have been doing this for a while. We know where everything sits on the shelves, even when things get a bit messy during the busy weeks. The office part of the building is small and mostly filled with paperwork and half-empty coffee cups. It gets hot in the afternoons, especially when the sun hits the metal roof, so we usually keep the big bay doors open to get a bit of a breeze. We don't really bother with big speeches or anything like that. We just focus on getting the crates onto the right trucks. Dealing with traffic around Viswaneedam is probably the hardest part of the day. Once the orders are gone, we just sweep up and get ready to do the same thing tomorrow. It’s a simple living and it keeps us out of trouble.
