You can find Sanman Restaurant Basavanagudi right at No.5, right across from the Bangalore Hospital. We are situated near South End Circle on Rv Rd, which is one of those old, familiar parts of Bangalore. The area has changed a lot over the years, but we’ve stayed pretty much the same. Being near the hospital means we get a lot of people coming in who are visiting family or waiting on appointments. We also have the regulars who have been living in Basavanagudi for decades. It’s a busy corner, especially with the traffic coming off South End Circle. The restaurant itself is a bit traditional. We don't have fancy lights or modern art on the walls. It’s just tables, chairs, and the smell of coffee and food. We start early in the morning, getting the kitchen ready for the breakfast crowd. Rv Rd is beautiful with the trees, and we like being in this part of town. The staff here is like a small family. We’ve worked together for a long time. We don't use a lot of complicated recipes. It’s just the standard stuff that people in South Bangalore like to eat. We don't really do much promotion. People know we are here. If the hospital is in front of you, you just turn around and there we are. It’s a simple life running a restaurant here, and we just focus on serving the neighborhood. It keeps us quite busy.
