Rajajinagar is a busy place, and being at number 399 puts us right in the middle of everything. Sangeetha Mobiles Pvt Ltd is where we spend our days dealing with all sorts of phone issues. People come in with cracked screens, batteries that won't charge, or just to look at the new models that come out every month. The store is bright, which is a bit of a contrast to the dusty street outside. We have glass counters that we have to wipe down constantly because of all the fingerprints. It can get pretty frantic on the weekends when everyone decides they need a new phone at the same time. We have a small staff and we all know each other's habits by now. Some of us are better at explaining the tech specs, while others are faster at the paperwork. We don't have a lot of space in the back, so it’s always a bit of a squeeze when new stock arrives in big cardboard boxes. We drink a lot of chai from the guy who has a stall just around the corner. It's not a glamorous job, but we see a lot of different people every day and that makes it interesting. We just try to be helpful and give people the right information so they don't end up with a device they don't like. It’s just how we run things here.
