Arathi Electronics

Our shop is on the second floor at No. 82 Nehru Road. If you find the State Bank of Travancore in Girinagar 1st Phase, we are right across from it. It’s a busy road, so there’s always something going on outside. We work on electronics, mostly fixing things or putting parts together. The workbench is usually covered in tiny screws and soldering tools. It takes a lot of patience to deal with these small components. We’ve been in Girinagar for a long time and know most of the other shop owners on the street. It’s a good community to be part of. Sometimes the stairs up to the second floor feel a bit steep after a long day of standing. We don’t have a lot of space, but we make it work. There’s a lot of testing and re-testing involved in what we do. It’s not always easy, and sometimes we can't figure out a problem right away. But we keep trying until it’s sorted out. We don't spend money on ads. People just know we are here. It’s a small, local business and we like keeping it that way. We usually have the radio on in the background while we work. It helps the time pass when we are focused on a tricky repair. We’re just regular people doing a job we know well. We close up when the street lights come on.
