Sangeeth Sarita

Sangeeth Sarita is situated on Banneraghatta Road, which as most people know, is a pretty busy stretch. We’ve been here for a while, dealing with music and everything that goes along with it. It’s a local place where the focus is really just on the instruments and the tunes. We aren't a big flashy store with bright lights and loud music playing 24/7. Instead, it’s a bit more low-key. People who live around Banneraghatta Road often stop in because they’ve been meaning to pick up a new string or ask about a specific instrument they saw in the window. The shop smells a bit like old wood and polish, which is how it should be. We spend our time tuning things, talking to students who are just starting out, and helping parents find something for their kids’ school music classes. It’s not a complicated life. We know the regulars by name and we know what kind of music they like to play. Sometimes the traffic outside is so loud you can barely hear the instruments, but we’re used to it by now. We don't have a fancy website or a huge team of people. It’s just us here, making sure the instruments are in good shape and the customers get what they need. It feels like a proper neighborhood shop where things are done the old-fashioned way. We just keep our heads down and focus on the music we have here.
