Sambex Drugs Pharma is located on G.T. Road in Chheharta. If you know the area, you know how busy that road can get with all the heavy trucks and buses passing through at all hours of the day and night. Our facility is right there on the main stretch, which makes it easy for transport but a bit noisy for those of us working inside the office. We deal with pharmaceuticals, so we have to keep the storage areas very clean and organized, though the front office always seems to have stacks of paper and folders everywhere. It’s a functional place, not a showroom for visitors. We spend a lot of time checking batches and making sure the storage temperatures are exactly where they need to be for the medicine. There is a small metal gate at the front where the delivery boys wait for their orders, and there is usually a bit of a crowd there in the early mornings. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy brochures for us. We just focus on getting the medicines where they need to go without any mistakes. The staff has been here for years, and we all just sort of know what needs to be done without being told every five minutes. It’s a lot of routine work, but it’s important to the people who need it. When the power goes out, we have the generator, which makes a loud humming sound that you can hear for a while.
