Sam Machinery

Sam Machinery is located at No. 511 in the 4th Phase of Peenya. We are on the 10th Main, right at the 4th Cross. Peenya is a huge industrial area and it’s easy to get lost if you don't have a map or a good sense of direction. We’ve been in this shed for a long time. There is always a lot of grease and oil around because of the machines we work on. We mostly handle repairs and building small parts for other factories nearby. It’s a noisy street with trucks moving in and out all day long. Our floor is stained from years of hard work, but we know where every tool is kept. The hammers and wrenches are hanging on the wall right where they’ve always been. We have a small electric kettle for tea in the corner. Sometimes the power goes out in this part of Peenya, and we just have to sit on our stools and wait. It gives us a chance to talk about the cricket scores or the local news. We don't have any sales people or glossy marketing flyers. Usually, people just hear about us from other shop owners who have been here for years. We try to be fair with our prices so people come back. It’s just a few of us working here. We wear blue overalls that never stay clean for more than an hour. The 4th Cross can get very crowded in the afternoons.
