S S Machine Tools

Our shop, S S Machine Tools, is located at 29B Mahadevapura, right opposite the ITI Ancillary Industiral area. It’s a very industrial part of town, so there’s always the sound of trucks and heavy machinery moving around nearby. Being Mahadevapura Post, we get a lot of mail meant for the bigger factories, but we’re just a small unit focused on machine tools. The floor is concrete and usually has a few oil spots here and there from the equipment we handle. We have various lathes and grinders that we use or sell, and the space is filled with the smell of cut metal. It can get pretty dusty with all the activity on the road outside, but we just wipe things down and keep going. We mostly work with the guys from the surrounding industrial units who need a specific tool or a part fixed up quickly. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that; you usually just walk in and find one of us working in the back. The building is older, and the roof makes a lot of noise when it rains, but it’s a solid place to work. We’ve been here long enough that the tea stall guy down the road knows exactly how we like our drinks. It’s a basic, hard-working environment where we just focus on the machines. The heavy door stays open most of the day to let some air in.
