S M Crane Service

We operate out of 235 Bommasandra Industrial Area on 12th Road. It is a big lot with enough space for the equipment we have. The lane can get tight when we are moving the bigger machines out for a job. Most days start early here because that’s when the traffic is a bit lighter for the trucks. S M Crane Service is really just about getting the gear to where it needs to go. We spend a lot of time checking the hydraulics and the cables to make sure everything is okay. The grease gets everywhere, especially on our uniforms and hands. It’s not the cleanest job but it is what we do. The 12th Road lane is tucked away a bit, so people sometimes miss the turn when they come to visit us the first time. We have a small office cabin where we keep the logs and the keys. It’s nothing special, just a desk and a couple of chairs that have seen better days. When the sun is out, the yard gets pretty hot. We take breaks in the shade of the cranes sometimes to stay cool. It’s a quiet spot compared to the main road. We know most of the guys in the other units around here. Everyone just minds their own business and gets through the day. We don’t do much advertising at all. People usually just find us because they saw one of our cranes out on a site nearby.
