Elmech Engineering Company is located on S. J. P. Road, right at number 64/6. If you’ve ever been down S. J. P. Road, you know it’s the place to be if you’re looking for anything mechanical or industrial. It’s a crowded street and finding parking can be a real headache sometimes, but we’ve been here for years and wouldn't really want to be anywhere else. Our shop isn't anything special to look at. It’s full of tools, parts, and various bits of machinery. We do a lot of engineering work for people in the city and sometimes further out. It’s dusty and loud most of the time because there’s always something being worked on. We’re not the type of people who wear suits or sit in fancy offices. Most of us have grease on our hands by noon. We just focus on getting the jobs finished. People come to us because they know we’ve been around the block a few times. We’ve seen all sorts of problems and usually find a way to fix them. It’s a family-run kind of vibe here, even if we aren’t all related. We just show up, do the work, and go home. S. J. P. Road has its own rhythm and we are just a small part of that. It’s a gritty area but it’s where real work happens. It’s a lot of standing on our feet and solving puzzles, but it keeps us going.
