S D B K Engineering & Finishing Services is located at 2/4, 1st Main, M M Road. This is over in the Byatarayanapura area, which is part of Banashankari. We do a lot of technical work here, mostly focusing on finishing services for different metal parts and machine components. It is a very noisy shop to work in. There is almost always the sound of grinding machines or metal hitting against metal. We all get quite dirty by the end of the shift with all the oil, grease, and metal dust on our clothes. It is definitely not a clean office job. We have our specialized tools and our workbenches and we stay busy with whatever projects come through the door. People bring us things that need a proper finish, and we spend the necessary time to get it done right. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to do sales. Most people find us because they are in the same line of work in this part of the city. The neighborhood is full of small workshops just like ours. We have been in this same spot for a while and we know the local rhythms of the street. It can get extremely hot in the shop during the middle of the afternoon, but we just keep working through it. We aren't interested in being a giant company with many branches. We just want to do work that holds up over time.
