S A M Dance Academy

We are located on Kamanahalli Main Road, right near the Shyamal Row Houses on Satellite Road. Our place is number 17. It is a lively neighborhood and having a dance academy here feels right because there is always so much going on. We started this academy because we just really enjoy dancing and wanted a place where people could come and learn without it being too stressful. The space is simple, with enough room for people to move around and practice their steps. We get all kinds of people coming in—kids who have too much energy and adults who just want to try something new after work. It is not a fancy studio with golden mirrors or anything like that, but it has a good feel to it. We spend a lot of time picking music and figuring out routines that people will actually enjoy doing. Sometimes we trip over our own feet, but that is part of the process. We don't try to act like we are the biggest or most famous place in Bangalore. We are just a group of people who like to teach dance in a way that makes sense. If you walk past the row houses, you will probably hear some music coming from our windows. It is a nice way to spend the day, honestly. We just keep the music playing and the floors clean.
