S A Engineering Works

S A Engineering Works is located at No.446. We are near the Hanging Bridge in Dooravaninagar. You have to take the 2nd Main and 2nd Cross to get to us from the Old Madras Road. It is a bit tucked away but we have been here for a long time. The shop is filled with various engineering tools and some older machines that still work perfectly. Being near the Hanging Bridge means we get a lot of noise from the main roads. We do not have any corporate branding or a lobby. It is just a place where we work on metal parts and fix things up. The floor is usually covered in shavings and there is the smell of oil in the air. We do not have a big team, just a few people who know their way around an engine or a lathe. Most of our day is spent measuring things or sitting at the workbench. It is quiet in its own way despite the traffic outside. We do not do any flashy advertising. People just find us by word of mouth or by wandering into the 2nd Cross. We handle each job as it comes. It is a simple, practical way to spend the day. We finish up when the work is done and lock the gates. It has been the same routine for years and we like it that way. No one here is looking for anything too complicated.
