Ruby

Ruby is located right on Church Street, which everyone knows is one of the busiest parts of Bangalore. We are at number 20, tucked in right next to Brigade Garden. If you’ve walked down Brigade Road, you’ve probably passed by our street a hundred times. It’s a lot of noise and people all the time, especially on the weekends when the whole city seems to come out. Our place is simple. We have been here for a good while, watching the shops around us change and the buildings get taller. It’s just a small spot where people can drop in. We don't do anything too complicated. The day starts with setting things up and waiting for the first few people to walk through the door. Usually, it’s students or people working in the nearby offices. The area has a lot of energy, sometimes too much, but we like being in the middle of it. We don't have any big speeches about what we do. It’s just a business on a famous street. We keep the doors open and try to stay organized. It gets crowded inside, and sometimes it’s hard to hear over the street noise, but that’s just Bangalore life for you. You get used to the traffic and the music from the other bars and shops nearby. We just keep our heads down and work. It's a nice little corner for us here near the gardens. There is always someone new to talk to.
