Royal Prince

Down on Jumma Masjid Road in Shivaji Nagar, things are always moving. Our place is at number 34, which is a very crowded part of Bangalore. If you walk past the mosque, you will find us easily enough. Royal Prince is just a regular building with several rooms and a lot of activity around it. The street is so narrow that sometimes two cars can't pass each other, and the noise from the market is something you just get used to after a week of working here. We spend our time checking the inventory and talking to the people who walk through the doors. It’s a bit cramped inside because we try to make use of every inch of space we have. The walls have some scuff marks and the ceiling fans hum all day long. We don't have a fancy lobby or a lot of staff in uniforms. It’s mostly just us doing the chores and making sure the place stays open on time. Bangalore weather is usually okay, but when it rains, the water splashes right into the entrance, so we keep a mop handy. People come here because it is a central location and they know where to find us. We’ve been at this address for a long time and the neighbors are all like family. We just keep going, day after day, without any big plans.
